Checklist for DMCS on-premise onboarding
This checklist is for pre-production of DMCS on-premise or in AWS/Azure
- Ubuntu 24.04 has been installed on the target server (DMCS)
- The DMCS has a minimum of 128 GB RAM, 16 threads, 1 TB disk, and no less than 15% of the source data
- The root partition on the D&MC Server has a minimum of 60 GB of free space
- A 1 TB backup disk has been mounted on /mnt/data/
- The domain compliant.your company.local or compliant.yourcompany.com has been added to the company DNS, and the URL is pointing to the DMCS
- Domain and pfx certificate + password has been send support@dataandmore.com
- DMZ is properly configured and the proper ports are open/closed
- You have received VPN configuration file from D&M and VPN is running
- The VPN is up and connected to clientvpn.gdpr.dataandmore.com
- A username and password with sudo rights for the D&MC Server have been given to D&M
- Any file shares that should be scanned are mounted on the D&MC Server under the path /mnt/data/fileshare/ and added to the fstab
- All cloud data have been registered and handed over to D&M
- The reg edit PowerShell has been run on the participants in PC (optional)
- AD groups have been set up for user segmentation, and group IDs have been handed over to D&M
- The end-user laptop has HTTPS access to the DMCS
- End users are accessing the servers using Chrome
